Singapore Airlines Increases UK Flights to Singapore with Up to 49 Weekly Departures from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester

Crystal Travel | Travel News | 21 July 2026

Airline to offer double-daily Gatwick flights from October 2026 as demand for Singapore and Southeast Asia travel grows.

More Singapore Flights from UK Airports

Singapore Airlines is expanding its UK schedule, offering up to 49 weekly flights to Singapore across three major airports. The increase spans London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester Airport, reinforcing the carrier's presence in the UK and responding to sustained demand from British travellers for connections to Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester

Under the expanded schedule, Singapore Airlines will operate four weekly flights from London Heathrow, continuing to serve travellers in and around the capital. From London Gatwick, the airline currently runs 10 weekly flights, a number set to increase to double daily from 25 October 2026, effectively doubling capacity on the route. Manchester Airport will continue to offer daily flights, giving passengers across the North of England a direct route to Singapore without needing to connect via London.

Combined, the three services give UK travellers access to one of the most extensive networks to Singapore offered by any carrier, with departures spread across different regions to suit a broader range of passengers.

Rising Demand for Singapore and Southeast Asia Travel

The expansion, particularly the move to double-daily flights from Gatwick, reflects growing demand for travel to Singapore among UK holidaymakers. The destination continues to attract visitors with its combination of culture, food and modern attractions, while also functioning as a major transit hub for onward travel to Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and beyond.

For travellers outside London, the continuation of daily Manchester departures is a notable benefit, offering a direct alternative that avoids domestic connections or additional journeys to southern airports.

The added frequency is also likely to give passengers more flexibility around travel dates and timings, and could help ease fare pressure during peak booking periods as overall capacity on the route increases.

How the New Gatwick Schedule Benefits Travellers

Booking Flights to Singapore

The increased schedule gives UK travellers greater choice when planning a trip to Singapore, whether for a short city break, a longer holiday exploring the destination in depth, or as part of a wider Asia-Pacific itinerary. With departures now available from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester, and Gatwick capacity set to double later this year, there are more options than ever for structuring a journey around personal schedules and preferences.
