Abu Dhabi International Airport
Abu Dhabi International Airport is Etihad Airways' sole hub and home base. The airline is the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, founded in 2003. Etihad is not a member of any major airline alliance but has codeshare and equity partnerships with airlines worldwide. The new Midfield Terminal (Terminal A) opened in 2023, featuring dedicated Etihad First and Business Class lounges with spa facilities, fine dining, and direct boarding. From Abu Dhabi, Etihad connects to more than 70 destinations across Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
