Each standard checked bag on international and regional flights must not exceed 158 cm (62 in) in total linear dimensions. A checked bag must normally not exceed 32 kg on international/regional flights.

Primary Hub
Beijing Capital is Air China's main hub, handling most of its long-haul international flights to Europe, North America, and Oceania. The airport offers Star Alliance lounges, convenient connections, and efficient transfer facilities for passengers connecting across Air China's network.

PhoenixMiles is Air China's frequent-flyer programme, allowing members to earn and redeem miles on eligible Air China, Star Alliance and participating partner flights. Members can progress from standard membership to Silver, Gold and Platinum status by earning qualifying mileage or qualifying segments.

The qualification period uses the 12 months before the current month, with elite status generally valid for 24 months. Members can earn PhoenixMiles through Air China, Star Alliance and participating partners and redeem them for flights, upgrades and other rewards.
