Jet2 Launches New Flights to Jersey from Birmingham and Bristol for Summer 2027

Jet2 opens up Jersey to more of the UK with new routes, more flights, and a season that runs deeper into autumn than ever before.

Jet2 has announced a major expansion of its Jersey programme for Summer 2027, introducing brand-new direct flights from Birmingham and Bristol, boosting capacity from Manchester, and extending the summer season right through to the end of October. For British holidaymakers, it means more choice, better connectivity, and a longer window to visit one of the UK's most loved island destinations.

For the first time, Jet2 will fly direct to Jersey from both Birmingham and Bristol airports. This is a significant development for travellers across the Midlands and the South West, who previously had limited direct options when it came to reaching the Channel Islands. Both routes will operate on a multiple-times-weekly basis throughout the summer season, giving customers a healthy range of departure days to choose from when planning their trip.

It is not just new routes making the headlines. Jet2 has also confirmed additional capacity from Manchester Airport, with more weekly services added to meet growing demand from the North West. Importantly, the Manchester route will now run later into the year than before, with the season extended through to the end of October. That gives North West travellers more opportunity to take advantage of quieter, often more affordable late-summer and early-autumn breaks.​​​​​​​

With Birmingham and Bristol joining the network, Jet2 will serve Jersey from six UK airports for Summer 2027, adding to its existing services from East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, and Newcastle. The overall capacity compared to last summer is substantially higher, with significantly more seats available and more weekly flights at peak periods.
