No. That is one of the biggest advantages of using Apple Pay on Crystal Travel. Once your card is saved in your Apple Wallet, Apple Pay fills in your payment details automatically. You just authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID, and your booking is done.

Any debit or credit card saved in your Apple Wallet can be used to pay on Crystal Travel via Apple Pay. Apple Pay supports Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards issued by most major UK banks. If you have more than one card in your Wallet, you can select which one to use at checkout.

Yes. Apple Pay is one of the most secure ways to pay online. Crystal Travel never receives your actual card number. Apple Pay sends only a secure, one-time digital token that is unique to your device. Every payment also requires your Face ID or Touch ID, so nobody else can use your Apple Pay, even if they have your phone.

Apple Pay does not have a standard spending cap for online purchases. The UK contactless limit of £100 applies only to physical card taps in store. Because Apple Pay uses biometric authentication for every transaction, it is treated as a verified payment with no fixed upper limit. This makes it suitable for booking flights of any value on Crystal Travel. Your bank may apply its own limits, so check with your card issuer if you are booking a high-value ticket.

Yes. You can book flights on Crystal Travel using Apple Pay from your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or a Mac with Touch ID or Face ID. On a Mac using Safari, you confirm the payment on your nearby iPhone or Apple Watch.

Setting up Apple Pay is quick. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone, tap the + button, and follow the steps to add your debit or credit card. Your bank will verify the card, usually by text or through your banking app. Once set up, you are ready to use Apple Pay on Crystal Travel straight away.

Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 applies to direct credit card purchases over £100. Because Apple Pay uses digital tokenisation rather than passing your card number directly to the merchant, Section 75 coverage for Apple Pay transactions varies by card issuer. We recommend checking with your credit card provider before booking if Section 75 protection is important to you. Alternatively, you can pay directly by card at checkout on Crystal Travel.

Yes. Your booking is stored securely with Crystal Travel and is completely unaffected by what happens to your device. To prevent anyone from using your Apple Pay cards on the lost device, go to icloud.com, open Find My, and use Lost Mode or Erase Device to suspend your cards immediately.

No. Apple Pay Later was discontinued by Apple in April 2024 and is no longer available anywhere, including Crystal Travel.
