Online Check-In
Check in online from 30 days before departure and download your boarding pass to your phone. This saves time at the airport and lets you head straight to security.

A buy-on-board service offers snacks, meals, and beverages during your flight. Pre-order options are available through the Vueling app or website before departure.
London Gatwick (LGW)
Direct Vueling flights to Tenerife depart from London Gatwick. Services operate on Airbus A320 family aircraft with single-class Economy seating.
Fly Light

Fly Bundle
The Fly bundle adds one cabin bag (55cm x 40cm x 20cm) weighing up to 10kg to your underseat item. Checked baggage can be added for an additional fee. Online check-in opens 30 days before departure.
Fly Plus / Fly Grande
Higher bundles include a 25kg checked bag in addition to cabin allowance. Fly Grande adds priority boarding, seat selection, and flexibility for changes and cancellations.
Checked Baggage Options
Checked bags are available in 15kg, 20kg, 25kg, and 30kg options. Maximum dimensions are 158cm total (length + width + height). Single bags cannot exceed 32kg under any circumstances.
Travelling with Infants
Infants under 2 sitting on a parent's lap do not receive a separate baggage allowance. A pushchair or car seat can be checked free of charge. Children with their own seat receive standard baggage entitlements.
Special Equipment
Sports equipment including golf clubs, skis, and bicycles can be transported for an additional fee. Maximum weight is 32kg and dimensions up to 270cm. Musical instruments require cases and advance booking.
Additional Charges
Excess baggage over your allowance is charged at €12 per kg up to 32kg maximum. Bags over the permitted size or weight at the gate incur fees from €60 to €140. Pre-booking online saves up to 50% compared to airport rates.
Shoulder Season Travel
Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer pleasant weather in Tenerife with lower fares than peak summer. These months provide good value for budget-conscious travellers.
Peak Summer Prices
July and August see the highest demand and fares on routes from the UK. Christmas, Easter, and UK school holidays also push prices up considerably.
Advance Purchase Savings
Booking 6 to 10 weeks ahead typically secures the best Vueling fares. Flash sales occasionally offer deeper discounts on specific routes for travel in quieter periods.
Midweek vs Weekend
Tuesday and Wednesday departures generally cost less than Friday or Sunday flights. Consider flexible dates if your schedule allows.
Bundle Comparison
Calculate total costs including baggage before selecting the cheapest headline fare. The Fly Plus bundle may work out cheaper if you need checked luggage.
