TAP Air Portugal offers two main cabin classes on most routes: Economy and Executive (Business). A new Premium Economy cabin is launching on select long-haul routes from summer 2026, featuring 12 neighbour-free seats on A330 and A321LR aircraft.

Economy Class

Economy features comfortable seating with personal entertainment on long-haul A330neo and A321LR aircraft. Passengers receive complimentary meals and drinks on intercontinental routes, with buy-on-board service on European flights. Economy seats include USB charging and 110V outlets.

Premium Economy

Launching summer 2026, Premium Economy offers 12 exclusive neighbour-free seats with extra legroom and recline. Passengers get enhanced meal service, priority boarding, and additional baggage allowance. Available on A330 and A321LR aircraft.

Executive Class

Executive (Business) features lie-flat beds on A330neo aircraft with direct aisle access in a 1-2-1 configuration. Enjoy multi-course Portuguese-inspired cuisine served on Vista Alegre porcelain, noise-cancelling headphones, and lounge access at Lisbon and Porto.

First Class

TAP does not currently operate a dedicated First Class cabin. For the most premium experience, passengers should book Executive Class which offers lie-flat seats, lounge access, and enhanced service on long-haul routes.

TAP's main hub and gateway to Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Located around 7km from the city centre with excellent transport links. The airport handles all intercontinental services and offers the TAP Premium Lounge for Executive passengers and Star Alliance Gold members.

Porto Airport

TAP's secondary hub serving northern Portugal. Growing network of routes including a direct Boston service launched in 2025. Compact terminal with straightforward connections to the city via metro.

Long-haul Economy passengers receive two complimentary meals: typically dinner and breakfast or lunch and a snack. Portuguese-inspired menus feature local ingredients. Executive Class offers multi-course dining on Vista Alegre porcelain with pre-selectable main courses. Special meals (vegan, vegetarian, halal, kosher, gluten-free) available with 24 hours notice on flights over 5 hours.

In-Flight Entertainment and Wi-Fi on TAP Air Portugal

TAP's A330neo and A321LR aircraft feature 13-inch Full HD seatback screens with films, TV series, music, and games. Executive Class passengers receive noise-cancelling headphones. USB and 110V power outlets are available at all seats.

Wi-Fi is available on A330-900neo and A321LR aircraft with four packages: Free Messaging (WhatsApp/Messenger text only), Small (100MB), Medium (200MB), and Large (500MB). Full-flight internet costs around €29. Connection begins at 10,000 feet.
