Economy Class
Passengers can carry up to 30 kg of checked baggage under SriLankan's weight concept, where the total weight can be spread across multiple bags. One cabin bag up to 7 kg is permitted.
Business Class
Business Class passengers are allowed up to 40 kg of checked baggage. Cabin baggage includes two pieces, each weighing up to 7 kg.
Infant Baggage
Infants travelling without a seat are entitled to 10 kg of checked baggage. One stroller or carrycot is included, and a car seat may be accepted, subject to SriLankan's safety and size conditions.
Special Equipment
Items such as golf bags, surfboards, bicycles, and musical instruments usually require advance notice. Acceptance and fees depend on the item's size, weight, and route.
Excess Baggage
Extra charges apply if you exceed your baggage allowance. Pre-purchasing excess baggage online is usually cheaper than paying at the airport. Final costs depend on the route and total weight.
