Wizz Air Launches New London Luton Flights to Málaga, Granada and Asturias

Wizz Air launches three new year-round Spanish routes from London Luton this October, with Málaga starting 25 October and Granada and Asturias following on 27 October.​​​​​​​

Wizz Air has announced three new routes from London Luton Airport to Spain, adding Málaga, Granada and Asturias to its network from this October, with one-way fares starting around £17.99. The new services give British travellers more choice when planning holidays, city breaks and trips across the country, building on Wizz Air's existing Spanish routes from Luton, which already include Barcelona, Bilbao and Seville.

Flights to Málaga begin first, on 25 October 2026, operating four times a week. Services to Granada and Asturias follow two days later, on 27 October, with Granada running twice weekly and Asturias three times a week. All three routes are planned as year-round operations, covering the summer holiday season as well as winter breaks, cultural city trips and quieter off-season travel, giving passengers flexibility no matter when they want to visit Spain.

The new Málaga service gives travellers another way to reach Spain's popular Costa del Sol. The city draws visitors year-round with its beaches, historic old town, restaurants, and easy access to nearby coastal resorts. A year-round schedule may particularly suit those hoping to travel outside the busiest summer weeks, and with four flights a week, the route offers decent flexibility for both short breaks and longer stays.

The new Asturias route offers something quite different from Spain's traditional beach holidays, connecting London Luton to a region known for its green landscapes, mountain scenery and Atlantic coastline. Flights will serve Asturias Airport, giving passengers access to Oviedo and the surrounding area. With three services a week, the route may appeal to those interested in walking holidays, outdoor adventures or a quieter alternative to Spain's busier resorts, broadening the range of Spanish getaways available from Luton.​​​​​​​

With these three additions, Wizz Air will operate flights from the UK to 11 destinations across Spain and 18 Spanish destinations across its wider European network. The announcement follows earlier 2026 launches of Luton routes to Barcelona, Bilbao and Seville, underlining how central Spain has become to the airline's leisure planning. The expansion also gives passengers more to choose from, whether that means a beach holiday in Málaga, a cultural break in Granada, or time outdoors in Asturias, reflecting a broader shift towards offering both classic and lesser-known Spanish destinations.​​​​​​​
