Air France Launches New Premium Lounge at London Heathrow Terminal 4, Featuring French Dining and Clarins Wellness Treatments

New 750-square-metre lounge brings elevated comfort, French hospitality and dedicated wellness experiences to Air France passengers travelling through Heathrow.​​​​​​​

Air France has opened its first dedicated lounge at London Heathrow Airport, marking a significant upgrade to the pre-flight experience for passengers travelling through Terminal 4. The lounge opened on 7 July 2026 and has been designed as a calm, refined space where eligible travellers can relax, dine or work before departure or while connecting through Heathrow.

Open daily from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, the lounge is available to Air France La Première and Business Class passengers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and qualifying travellers flying with KLM and other SkyTeam partner airlines. Business Light fares are not eligible for access. Covering more than 750 square metres, the space seats close to 150 passengers and features large windows offering views across Heathrow's runways.​​​​​​​

The lounge's interior reflects Air France's signature palette of blue, white and touches of red, alongside the airline's historic winged seahorse emblem and posters celebrating its aviation history. Furniture from leading French designers, including Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin and Christophe Pillet, has been used throughout to create a refined and comfortable setting for waiting passengers.

,A dedicated dining area seats almost 60 guests, with tables for two as well as a communal table for those travelling together. The menu rotates throughout the day with hot and cold dishes, vegetarian options, and traditional French plates such as beef bourguignon. A staffed bar serves champagne, French wines and spirits. Air France has said it will prioritise local and seasonal ingredients where possible, alongside measures to reduce food waste, improve recycling and cut single-use plastics through the use of water dispensers.

La Première passengers benefit from a private area with five seats, runway views and personalised in-seat dining, inspired by the airline's long-haul La Première suites. These travellers can also access an exclusive Clarins treatment, Destination Relaxation. Flying Blue Ultimate members have their own private section with four seats, offering added privacy while remaining close to the lounge's main dining and relaxation facilities.​​​​​​​

The lounge also includes quieter relaxation zones with softer lighting and a dedicated workspace for those needing to stay productive before departure. Free Wi-Fi, televisions, power sockets, and USB charging points are available throughout, along with digital newspapers and magazines via the Air France Press app. Automated eligibility kiosks at the entrance are designed to speed up the check-in process for passengers.

The new lounge supports Air France's schedule of up to six daily flights between Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle this summer, with onward connections available across Europe and the airline's wider international network.
