Baggage Included as Standard
Every Loganair fare includes a free checked baggage allowance. Fly fares include 15kg, Fly Flex offers 23kg, and Fly Flex+ provides 30kg. Cabin bags up to 6kg are permitted on all fares.

Fly Fare

Fly Flex Fare
Fly Flex passengers receive 23kg checked baggage allowance. Cabin bag allowance is 6kg. This fare includes free flight changes and name changes up to departure.
Fly Flex+ Fare
Fly Flex+ offers the maximum 30kg checked baggage across multiple bags. No single bag may exceed 25kg. Cabin allowance includes a 6kg bag plus laptop bag. Full flexibility for changes and cancellations included.
Cabin Baggage
All fares include one cabin bag weighing up to 6kg with maximum dimensions of 40cm x 35cm x 18cm. On smaller aircraft, cabin bags may be collected at the steps and placed in the hold.
Infant Baggage
Infants under 2 travelling on a parent's lap receive 15kg checked baggage allowance. One pushchair or car seat per infant can be checked free of charge.
Special Equipment
Golf clubs incur a charge of £30 one way with a maximum of eight sets per flight. Skis, musical instruments, and other sports equipment require advance notice and are subject to availability and additional fees.
Additional Baggage
One additional piece of hold luggage up to 15kg can be booked online for £25. Excess baggage at the airport is charged at £10 per item subject to space availability. Maximum single bag weight is 25kg regardless of fare type.
Off-Peak Periods
Midweek flights to Jersey typically offer the best value. January, February, and November are generally quieter months with more competitive fares and seat availability.
Peak Travel Times
Summer months, school holidays, and festival periods see higher demand. Edinburgh Festival season in August and Hogmanay push up fares on Scottish routes significantly.
Advance Booking
Booking 4 to 8 weeks ahead usually delivers the best balance of price and choice. Last-minute availability exists but fares are often higher, particularly on business-focused routes.
