Business Class
Business Class passengers are allowed two pieces of checked baggage, each up to 32 kg. Cabin baggage includes two pieces, each weighing up to 8 kg. Business Class on Boeing 787 features 1-2-1 reverse herringbone seats with fully flat beds.
Infant Baggage
Infants travelling without a seat are entitled to 10 kg of checked baggage. One stroller or carrycot is included, and a car seat may be accepted, subject to EgyptAir's safety and size conditions.
Special Equipment
Items such as golf bags, skis, bicycles, and musical instruments usually require advance notice. Acceptance and fees depend on the item's size, weight, and route, and are assessed individually by EgyptAir.
Excess Baggage
Extra charges apply if you exceed your baggage allowance. Pre-purchasing excess baggage online is usually cheaper than paying at the airport. Final costs depend on the route and total weight and are confirmed during booking or at check-in.
Best Months to Visit
October to April usually offer good value and pleasant weather. These periods fall outside the intense summer heat and major holiday seasons.
Peak Travel Periods to Avoid
Fares are typically higher during Christmas, New Year, Easter, and UK school holidays. Summer months (June to August) can be less popular due to extreme heat.
