Upcoming 2027 Membership Changes

From 1 January 2027, Cathay will expand its membership structure with a new top-level status called Diamond Exec. Members will need to earn 2,400 Status Points within the qualifying period to reach this tier. Cathay will also move to a calendar-year status cycle, with Status Points counted from 1 January to 31 December. Eligible Gold, Diamond and Diamond Exec members will also be able to carry forward a limited number of qualifying Status Points under the updated programme rules.
