Take the elevator to the 94th and 97th floors and you'll be treated to a breathtaking urban panorama. However, the Sky Walk on the 100th floor is the true highlight of the tower.

Zhujiajiao: Often called the Venice of Shanghai, Zhujiajiao is located 29 miles west of downtown. This ancient water town was a commercial hub during the Ming Dynasty when its success resulted in the construction of these picturesque waterways. The area remains composed of numerous canals with bridges connecting visitors to the charming narrow streets. You will find tiny cafes down the back alleys, various hole-in-the-wall shops selling souvenirs and friendly boatmen offering rides.

Jade Buddha Temple: One of the most popular attractions of Shanghai, the Jade Buddha Temple impresses with its group of statues. It was originally built to house two jade statues from Burma but its collection of ornate statues grew over time. It is also noteworthy that the temple is one of the few active Buddhist monasteries in the city.

Shanghai Museum: Located on the People's Square near Nanjing Road, the Shanghai Museum is one of the best museums in China that houses a huge collection of artefacts charting the history of the nation.
